Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- The southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are facing closures for road excavation. This closure will continue until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
- Long-term projects: On Sims Road and La Madrona Drive, from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, a single lane is closed for a pipeline project. This closure is in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with traffic control in place.
On Richmond Drive and Portola Drive at 24th Avenue, there are road closures due to a pump station upgrade project. Expect traffic delays and lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting. On April 12-13, construction will occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
