Santa Cruz-based Joby Aviation’s plans to ramp up production of its electric helicopters is getting a boost from Toyota, with a manufacturing partnership announced last week, reporter Jessica M. Pasko writes in her weekly look at county business. Joby is aiming to bring commercial passenger flights to 10 states – including New York and New Jersey – as early as this year.
