Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • Long-term projects: Highway 9 between Lorenzo Ave and Prospect Ave, about 9 miles south the Route 236 in Santa Cruz County, has a long-term lane closure for ongoing work to replace a retaining wall and drainage. Highway 1 Riverside and Larkin Valley in Santa Cruz County will have overnight ramp and lane closures from Sunday, December 7, Friday, December 12, for road striping and maintenance. The southbound Highway 1 off-ramp at Park Avenue in Santa Cruz County will be closed on Tuesday, December 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for soundwall construction.
