Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • Highway 9 at Pool Drive will have alternating lane closures in both directions because of bridge work. This is expected to continue until April 30.
      
  • There is one-way traffic on Highway 236 at Boulder Brook Drive because of pavement repair. This closure is expected to last until Sept. 21.

Community crime report

  • An assault involving a deadly weapon happened near Highway 9 just north of Redwood Drive on Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. (source)
      
  • An assault involving domestic violence was reported near the 3000 block of Creekside Way at 8 p.m. on Sept. 4. (source)
      
  • A person with previous shoplifting offenses was involved in another shoplifting incident and also committed battery against someone. This happened near the 13000 block of Highway 9 at 5 p.m. on Sept. 14. (source)
     
  • A person was arrested for obstructing a police officer, violating a protective order, and possessing illegal drug paraphernalia. The incident happened near Highway 9 and Central Avenue at 1 a.m. on Sept. 9. The person was released on bond. (source)
     
  • Police responded to a report of someone violating a restraining order related to preventing domestic violence and being drunk in public. The incident happened near the 12700 block of Central Avenue at 5 p.m. on Sept. 8. (source)
     
  • A person was acting disorderly while under the influence of drugs, had illegal drug paraphernalia, and was a felon found with a stun gun and tear gas. This happened near the 12900 block of Central Avenue at 6 a.m. on Sept. 7. (source)
