Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- A big rig crashed through a barrier and fence onto the frontage road at Highway 1 South and Park in Capitola/Soquel around 3:17 a.m. today. No one was hurt, but about 60-80 feet of chain-linked fence was damaged. Roads were closed and traffic was controlled while the vehicle was recovered and the area was cleaned up.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. This closure will last until April 1.
