Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • Northbound Highway 17 is facing closures for road striping. The closure is expected to end at 4:59 a.m. today.
     
  • One-way traffic control is in place on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
     
  • Southbound Highway 17 is facing closures in the Eastside / Live Oak area for road striping. The closure is expected to end at 5:59 a.m. today.

  • A person was arrested for violating a court order to prevent domestic violence (two counts). The incident happened near the 100 block of Fern St., Santa Cruz, at noon on November 13. The person was released after the arrest. (source)
