Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • The southbound Highway 1 Buena Vista Drive on-ramp in Watsonville will be fully closed for daytime hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Thursday. Crews will be working in the area during this time.
     
  • A lane is closed on westbound Highway 152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway for asphalt paving. The closure is scheduled to last until July 3.

Community crime report

  • Police responded to a disturbance involving a man with a machete at a medical office. The incident happened near the 1500 block of Main Street, Watsonville. It occurred at 4 p.m. on June 15. The man was detained without any problems and was found to have a no-bail felony warrant. (source)
