Community crime report

  • A person was arrested for causing injury to a partner, breaking into a home, and entering a noncommercial residence. The incident happened near the 1200 block of Shaffer Road, Santa Cruz, at 1 a.m. on May 11. (source)
     
  • A person was involved in unauthorized use of a credit card, identity theft, using someone else’s account information without permission, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and possible child endangerment. The incident happened near 259 Water St., Santa Cruz County, at 10 p.m. on May 10. (source)
     
  • A case of domestic violence was reported near the 1000 block of Kaye Street in Santa Cruz at 5 a.m. on May 11. (source)
     
  • A man was arrested for several outstanding warrants, including battery, resisting a police officer, having illegal drug paraphernalia, simple possession of narcotics, and showing a deadly weapon (not a gun).
