Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on August 5
- A traffic collision involving multiple vehicles occurred at the intersection of Crg12 and Porter Dr in Watsonville/Pajaro. A gray Nissan Sentra reportedly caused the collision by rear-ending a light gray Honda Accord. Vehicles were moved to the right-hand side of the road to clear traffic. Emergency services were notified and responded to the scene. The incident was reported today.
- South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure will last until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects

Expect traffic delays and lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today, weather permitting. On April 12-13, construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
