Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on July 1
- There was a traffic incident today at the intersection of Highway 1 North and Mar Monte in Aptos. The Highway Patrol assisted with a construction-related issue.
- The southbound lanes of Highway 17 in the Eastside/Live Oak area are facing closures for drainage work. The closure will last until 7:01 a.m. tomorrow.
- Southbound Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for roadwork. The closure will last until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects

Expect traffic delays and lane closures, weather permitting. Construction is happening daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours on April 12-13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
