Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on September 9
- Highway 1 at March Vista Drive in Aptos will be fully closed overnight for construction of a pedestrian bridge. Southbound Highway 1 will be closed on Sept. 20 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., and northbound Highway 1 will be closed on Sept. 21 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- South Highway 1 at Route 129 in Watsonville and Pajaro is facing closures for roadwork. The closure will end at 5:59 a.m. today.
- Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley has alternating lane closures because of bridge work. This will continue until April 30, 2027, at 6:59 a.m.
- Alternating lanes are closed on SR-129 at Highway 1 in Watsonville and Pajaro because of roadwork. The closure is expected to end today at 5:59 a.m.
- There is one-way traffic on SR-129 at Union Street in Watsonville and Pajaro because of roadwork. This closure is expected to end by 5:59 a.m. today.
- CHP helped with construction work at the intersection of Highway 1 South and State Park in Aptos today.
