Assemblymember Gail Pellerin will speak at the Valley Women’s Club Environmental Committee’s 23rd annual Environmental Town Hall on Saturday, Nov. 16.
She’ll provide an update on legislation and other state policy questions affecting environmental issues impacting the San Lorenzo Valley and surrounding area from 1 to 3 p.m. at Felton Community Hall, 6169 Highway 9.
Pellerin’s talk will be followed by a Q&A session with the public.
In addition, more than 20 organizations and agencies with a stake in environmental policy will be represented. There will be informational displays and brochures, along with the opportunity to interact with information specialists from local and state parks departments, the Santa Cruz County Mosquito and Vector Control, the Regional Transportation Commission, the Coastal Watershed Council and more.
Admission is free, refreshments will be provided and students are encouraged to attend.
