  4. Santa Cruz musician Tom Ralston leads his eye-popping 15-piece band together to make magic happen at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center. 
  5. Is he a dude? Or a bro? Or a dude-bro? Maybe chill stand-up comic Nick Colletti is all three? 
  6. Clean energy’s future, which just became a bit more uncertain, is on the minds of authors Manuel Pastor and Chris Benner next week at Bookshop.
  7. The singer-songwriter Jake Smith conjures his soul through the persona of The White Buffalo, performing back-to-back shows at Moe’s. 
  8. The Colligan Theater is back in business, bringing to the stage the Disney classic “The Little Mermaid.”
  9. Lots of folks are looking for solace and inspiration these days. It arrives Monday with the amazing Sweet Honey in the Rock at the Rio Theatre.
