Saturday’s return of the Capitola Rod & Custom Classic Car Show to Capitola Village means not only vintage automobiles but also a number of road closures in the area.
To keep the 18th annual event enjoyable and safe for attendees, the Capitola Police Department will close a number of roads between 6:30 and 10 a.m., including:
- Monterey Avenue at Park Avenue.
- Fanmar Way at Monterey Avenue.
- Park Place at Monterey Avenue.
- El Camino Medio at Monterey Avenue.
- Capitola Avenue at Stockton Avenue.
Also closed from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. will be southbound San Jose Avenue at Capitola Avenue and eastbound Esplanade at Stockton Avenue
Officials strongly recommend using alternative routes to avoid delay.
