Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

- Alternating lanes are closed on Highway 9 at Riverdale Park in San Lorenzo Valley because of bridge work. The closure is expected to last until 6:59 a.m. on April 30, 2027.
- An object was found blocking lane 1 on southbound Highway 1 at Salinas Road around 4:47 a.m. today. No vehicles were involved. The incident happened near Watsonville and Pajaro.
