Community crime report

  • Police responded to a situation involving people conspiring to commit a serious crime and carrying loaded firearms, including a handgun that did not belong to them, in a public place. The incident happened near Front Street and Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz at 3 p.m. on July 25. (source)

  • Police responded to someone carrying a loaded firearm and possessing a large-capacity magazine in public. The incident happened near 259 Water St., Santa Cruz, at 2 p.m. on July 21. (source)
