  • Alternating lanes are closed on Highway 9 at Riverdale Park because of bridge work. The closure is expected to last until April 30, 2027.

  • Highway 9 at Cascade Avenue has one-way traffic because of ongoing work. This closure is expected to last until Aug. 31.

  • The road at 940 Elsie Mae Dr. will be closed today from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 4 p.m. while crews replace a utility pole and transformer and trim trees nearby.

Property code violations

County officials cite property owners for issues such as substandard housing, illegal uses of buildings, property maintenance, abandoned appliances or furniture, construction without permits, and other issues that affect public safety and quality of life.

  • The property at 10825 Lake Blvd., Felton, was previously cited for a code compliance case (NV25367), which was processed and inspected on May 6. While the official Parcel Research Report confirms that a code compliance case existed and an inspection was conducted, it does not provide any details about the specific nature of the building code violations. County officials have now confirmed that the violation has been resolved, and the property owner is required to pay assessed fees to the county as part of the resolution process.
