Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Highway 9 at Cascade Avenue has one-way traffic due to ongoing work. This closure is expected to last until Aug. 31.
     
  • Alternating lanes are closed on Highway 9 at Riverdale Park because of bridge work. The closure is expected to last until April 30, 2027.

Community crime report

  • A person was arrested for several offenses, including being drunk in public, causing a disturbance, mistreating an elderly or dependent adult, making a false crime report, battery, vandalism, and not paying for services under $950. The incident happened near the 13200 block of Middleton Avenue at 5 p.m. on July 29. (source)
     
  • A person was arrested for multiple drug and theft offenses, including shoplifting with prior offenses, having drug paraphernalia, possessing various illegal drugs without a prescription, disobeying a court order, and obstructing a public officer. The incident happened near the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road at 7 p.m. on July 28. (source)
     
  • A person was found under the influence of a controlled substance, drunk in public, committed petty theft, and made criminal threats to terrorize someone. This happened near the 9500 block of Mill Street at 2 p.m. on July 19. (source)
     
  • A person was arrested for causing less than $400 in property damage and for assaulting someone with a weapon that was not a gun. The incident happened near the 11500 block of Highway 9 at 4 p.m. on July 20. (source)
