Property code violations
County officials cite property owners for issues such as substandard housing, illegal uses of buildings, property maintenance, abandoned appliances or furniture, construction without permits, and other issues that affect public safety and quality of life.
- A code violation notice has been issued for the property at 515 Lockhart Gulch Rd., Scotts Valley, under case number NV25411. According to county records, the violations involve two unpermitted structures: a newer accessory structure described as a “cabin” measuring approximately 12 by 15 feet, and a large three-bay metal garage. Neither of these structures is recognized on the assessor’s records, suggesting they were built without the necessary permits or county approvals. The case has reached the “Notice and Order” milestone, meaning the property owner has been formally notified of the violations and is required to take corrective action.
