Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- A hit-and-run happened on San Andreas Rd. The reporting party and two children were in the car but were not hurt, though the children were scared. The vehicle was later pulled over at Beach Rd and Thurwacher Rd, where it could be seen from the road. The incident was reported today.

- There are alternating lane closures on both northbound and southbound Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley because of bridge work. This is expected to continue until April 30, 2027, at 6:59 a.m.
- There is one-way traffic on Highway 9 at Cascade Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of ongoing work. The closure is expected to end at 7:01 a.m. on August 31.
- CHP helped with construction on northbound Highway 1 at Park in Capitola/Soquel. Units M1 and D2 were at the scene and planned to stay until about 6:00 a.m. The incident was reported yesterday.
