  • A person was arrested for battery on a spouse or ex, violating a restraining order meant to prevent domestic violence, and two counts of probation violation. The incident happened near the 3000 block of Jessie Street, Santa Cruz, at 8 p.m. on July 19. (source)
     
  • A person was charged with vandalizing a place of worship, showing a deadly weapon (not a firearm), and making threats to terrorize. The incident happened near 259 Water St., Santa Cruz, at 10 p.m. on July 18. (source)
     
  • A person was arrested for several offenses, including shoplifting with previous convictions, first-degree burglary, violating probation, having drug paraphernalia, possessing burglary tools, illegally having tear gas, and having a controlled substance.   • A person was arrested for several offenses, including hitting or interfering with police or emergency workers, being drunk and disorderly, and interfering with a driver.
