Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on January 6
- A hit and run happened at 17 Minto Rd in Corralitos / Freedom at 8:21 p.m. today. A vehicle hit the reporting party’s friend’s dog, which may have died. No people were hurt.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on April 1.
- Highway 1 at Capitola Ave. in Capitola will have four full overnight closures in one direction starting Sunday, Jan. 11. The closures are for crews to remove temporary supports from the Capitola Ave. bridge as part of the Highway 1 Auxiliary Lanes project.
