The upcoming Nov. 5 election includes selection of the county’s District 2 supervisor. Many challenges faced by our county – including major road infrastructure decay, housing, behavioral health, substance abuse, wildfires, seawater intrusions, Metro solvency, poor to no internet coverage in many areas and more – will be debated before the board of supervisors looking for solutions. At the same time, the county is facing massive budget deficits. Maybe more taxes.
During the nearly four decades of local service, I have worked with Kim De Serpa on many occasions. I have always found her to be intelligent, thoughtful, collaborative, considerate, effective, fiscally smart and an effective leader with proven results. Unflappable integrity and not politically beholden.
On Nov. 5 please vote, and vote for Kim De Serpa.
