Lookout’s coverage of Thursday’s Capitola City Council meeting and Park Avenue trail issue was incorrect and one-sided. You are only adding to the misinformation and mistaken impressions of what the Thursday council decision on the proposed Park Avenue actually is.

It is not about the trestle. That is another entire and separate issue. There are many of us residents who are not NIMBYs and who are not terrified by discussions of bikes and pedestrians in our village. Actually, that is what the village merchants have been wishing and working for always. These constant diversions and scare tactics on the part of the anti-rail should be stopped. Let’s stick to the truth and the facts.

Your article did neither.
