Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- The southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure is expected to end at 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
- Long-term projects: On Sims Road and La Madrona Drive, a single lane is closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a pipeline project. Traffic control is in place between Brook Knoll Road and 600 La Madrona Drive.
On Richmond Drive and Portola Drive at 24th Avenue, there are road closures and expected traffic delays due to a pump station upgrade project. Construction is happening from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended work hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 12-13.
