Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- A car hit a deer at 6:40 a.m. today at 656 Highway 9. All passangers were okay.
- A traffic hazard was reported at the intersection of River Rd and Hillside Dr at 6:35 a.m. today. The hazard was partially blocking driveways and the road.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
Farmers’ market Tuesday
The Felton Farmers’ Market is the second oldest market in Santa Cruz County. On Tuesdays during late spring through early fall, a collection of regional farms and food businesses throw up their tents to sell a colorful array of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, artisanal bread, seafood and other staple foods.
