Ashley Harmon
Ashley Harmon (Holmes) (she/her) started at Lookout as director of advertising and marketing. She has since expanded her role to Lookout's national staff supporting Santa Cruz and Eugene, business teams, and Lookout Local's expansion plans.
Ashley comes to Lookout with six years of Santa Cruz County partnership and communications experience. Coming from community-centered organizations at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History and the Santa Cruz Warriors, Ashley’s skill set seamlessly connects Lookout’s powerful storytelling with intentional partnerships.
Driven to create spaces for local connection, Ashley has also been a steering committee member of United Way’s Emerging Leaders Circle for the past six years.
Once a collegiate athlete for UC Santa Cruz’s women’s basketball team and named UCSC’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2016, Ashley brings her competitive edge and collaborative nature from the court to support Lookout’s valuable journalism and partners. Every year, you’ll find Ashley coaching sixth grade girls basketball at Branciforte Middle School.
