  • A permit application has been filed for a redevelopment project at 241 Palisades Ave. in Santa Cruz. The proposal includes demolishing the existing 884-square-foot house and constructing a new one-story home measuring 1,320 square feet with a 562-square-foot attached garage. Additionally, the current 290-square-foot detached garage would be converted and expanded by 29 square feet to create an attached accessory dwelling unit (ADU). The project requires special permits, including approval to reduce the garage entrance width from the standard 20 feet to 16.5 feet. (view details)
