Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • The southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure is expected to end at 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
     
  • Long-term projects: A single lane on Sims Road is closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today due to a pipeline project. Traffic control measures are in place. The affected area is from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive.
     

Farmers’ market Saturday

The Scotts Valley Farmers’ Market has become a seasonal treasure to the local community and to those visiting the area looking for a place to slow down and unwind.
