Jeanne Burke was most recently seen Nov. 18 in the area of Moore Ranch Road. She was wearing a red and black plaid jacket, black pants, one pink sandal and one black sandal. Burke is 5 feet tall, of medium build, with long grey hair, blue eyes and glasses.

Sgt. Ryan Farotte told Lookout on Monday that the sheriff’s office has no updates but is preparing to continue looking for Burke in the coming weeks.

“I know there is another larger-scale search planned for after the first of the year and the limited continuous search is still in effect,” he wrote via email, adding that he didn’t yet have any specifics about that future search.

Late last month, more than 100 search-and-rescue volunteers from across the state assisted local law enforcement in the search for Burke. After the volunteers left, the sheriff’s office shifted its efforts to evaluating where there might’ve been gaps in their search and looking for her in those smaller targeted areas.

Farotte said the sheriff’s office is still reviewing that data and using drones to look for her as well.

Anyone with information about Burke’s location is encouraged to call the sheriff’s office dispatch at 831-471-1121.
